- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Age 20–30 years for PO (relaxations apply)
- Computer literacy and regional language proficiency for some posts

Exam pattern
- Prelims: English, Quant and Reasoning — sectional timing
- Mains: adds General/Economy/Banking Awareness and Data Interpretation

Preparation roadmap
- Build speed: 30 minutes of mental maths daily.
- Master DI sets and puzzles — they decide the Mains score.
- Read banking and economy news for 20 minutes a day.
- Take 3 sectional tests plus 1 full mock every week.
- Practise descriptive writing in 20-minute timed blocks.
